Off to Jiang Men (江門), Guangdong, China – Part II

Check back to Part I, if you haven’t read yet.

It’s just very peaceful and quiet in a real countryside. The countryside of Hong Kong is nothing like this. The people here are setting the atmosphere. I guess that’s why everyone loves to travel and make trips.

Many of the scenes near my grandma’s house are very vivid. The backgrounds of my subjects were just too good to miss out. It’s more natural and intuitive to present my photos of this village this way. More of the scenes with human elements in it. Thanks to the 16:9 again, making them very documentary like.

I always picture what those people do here in the countryside. There’s more true human interaction. There’s not much going on in town. They tend to invite each other to their homes for supper and serve up a few packs of beers. Work pressure, peer pressure..they’re just in our Hong Kong dictionary. I could be totally wrong on any of above mentioned. I can only say the tension of Hong Kong people are much higher than them.

Part III, the scenic photos will be coming up tomorrow.
